In this early piece, I’ve captured a moment from Saunalahti Nature Park in Herttoniemi, Helsinki. The painting holds the last, fleeting light of sunset, which dances across the frozen sea between Herttoniemi and Arabianranta. Inspired by Impressionism, I used thick, deliberate brushstrokes to build a rich texture, allowing the painting’s surface to reflect the dynamic energy of the fading day.
