I returned to Koli during the final days of autumn to capture its shifting landscape. The plein air session was a challenge, battling relentless fog and rain, but I managed to lay down the core composition on-site. I finished the piece in my studio, layering in the arrival of the first winter snow. The final work is a study of the fleeting, cold atmosphere, captured through a pointillistic lens.
