This vibrant oil stick painting, inspired by my trip to Rome’s Villa Borghese gardens, depicts a tranquil scene. Trees stand over a serene lake, which perfectly mirrors the surrounding landscape and a beautiful Ionic temple from the 1790s. The temple itself is home to a statue of Asclepius, the god of medicine.
